THEM finale

Our HEAD received an update from the HEAD OFFICE in MANILA that there will be a visitor form GERMANY who’s looking for a family to be interviewed. The qualifications are: should be indigent, has the lowest rank in the community, has no birth control and are sick.

She lends us the information and I voluntarily told her to conduct several interviews in one of the depressed are in TOLOSA, which was the 2^nd town from PALO where our office is located.

She told me to tell them they might be the next beneficiary to receive support from a foreign group, and that’s exactly what I told them.

I did not assure that they’ll be the ones to be chosen, but I told them to wish for the best. But they were too hopeful when I left they even said that if they’ll be chosen, even a little support will do, may it be not for them but for the kids will do.

That day came in. the HEAD OFFICER met the visitor who was a GERMAN NUN from a local radio station in GERMANY. she’s here to look for some SUBJECT in some of their programs.

Our HEAD was so excited to see the visitor and did not mind if what really the reason was for the visit, all she did was to cater her and assisted her in the location. She didn’t even invited me to join her at TOLOSA, I know it will happen, she pretended that she’s the one who did the research for this families and communicated to them as if she went there the other day. Of course, the nun could not fetch what she’s telling to them.

According to HER (the HEAD) there was no really support and the outreach program. They even had hard time with the interview because the mother of the FAMILY B, hid and did not showed off. But they were lucky indeed when the father arrived and shared his sentiments.

So she returned to the office after their interview with both families. She told us that the situation was so alarming on the par of the kids, because both families has a member which has tuberculosis, and after that, business as usual.

2 days, 3, 5, and a week has passed, the Christmas season is in the air and I could not help but to think about those families. Do they have something to eat on the CHRISTMAS EVE?

when I arrived from my travel at SOUTHERN LEYTE, I texted all my friends and asked for little donations. Some gave me used garments and others gave me canned goods and noodles, I packed up rice from our supply at home and I took some umbrellas from the OFFICE which was under the consent from our HEAD. I went there all by myself and lend them the gifts.

I was so happy when I saw that smile from them who was so thankful with the little gifts that I brought them.

From them, I was able to find a little discovery from myself, that the SPIRIT of CHRISTMAS is really on GIVING your HEART to the little ones.

I am now looking forward that other people may know how to appreciate life by helping other people who really needs. Spread the meaning of LOVE and SHARE it, and FEEL their suffering, that’s how you will be able to realize that we are THANKFUL for what we have.
