i was surprised when the police officer anounced that BLACKWOOD got up from his tomb and walked away. and on the later part, HOLMES continued on investigating why did it happened. HOLMES do not believe in SORCERY and everything that BLACKWOOD possesses, the black magic.

DOWNEY made HOLMES a funny and bubbly agent. romance with ADLER, a femme fatale from New Jersey who outwitted HOLMES twice was his love interest. LAW who plays DR. WATSON was HOLMES best ally, a surgeon and a war veteran.

the story is focused on BLACKWOOD's political interest. he used black magic to scare the people. and that the only way he could gain power is to let them feel that BLACKWOOD is scary and he has the power to do everything he wanted. He even killed his own father who was the leader of their secret society that time.

but BLACKWOOD did not succeed with his plans, HOLMES carefully investigated everything that is connected with BLACKWOOD's mysterious resurrection. HOLMES and WATSON slowly found out BLACWOOD's little ingredients on how he made his tricks, from the little rats' tails to the pig's intestines.

from a KOREAN DRAMA SERIES, LADY MISHIL is way equal to BLACKWOOD of HOLMES intelligence.

LADY MISHIL, the main antagonist of QUEEN SEON DEOK announced herself as a demigod. in the series, she dreamed of becoming the QUEEN of SILLA. she's the most beautiful woman in the palace and seemed to not grow old. She served as one of the major harem of 3 kings; from king JINHEUNG to king JINPYEONG of SILLA. She was responsible for the enthronement and dethronement of King JINJI because she thought that KING JINJI will proclaim her as his Queen.

in the series, King JINHEUNG warned everyone in his ministry to beware of Lady Mishil and the danger she'll bring if she'll gain another rank from her position. she also served as a head SORCERESS.

lady MISHIL is very clever that she even owned a bigger estate that the royal family. her reason was, because i am a demigod, half human, half god, i could have everything i wanted. she could predict rainfall, drought and even storm and catastrophe. everytime she wanted to oust a ministry she will proclaim an eclipse nor make miracles and some unexplainable events.

this series shows the political interests of LADY MISHIL. her lover, a HWARANG (a soldier) before going to a war left young MISHIL a small chest, she saw a calendar inside and a message that it will help her in the future.

drought came in to SILLA and many rituals were done, when MISHIL went to the altar and cried, the people were shocked and said, the heaven cried with MISHIL! and since then she became popular.

there was a scene where MISHIL and DEOKMAN had a conversation. MISHIL stressed that if you want to be successful, scare the people around you, she even told DEOKMAN that she's responsible for the hearsay that she eats children that's why she still looks young.

but on the later part, DEOKMAN as the QUEEN, overpowered MISHIL and announced her false magic. and so PRINCESS DEOKMAN became the queen and MISHIL lost her dreams

from the stories above, some people uses their little intelligence to fool the world, they are using false miracles and scares their people just to earn respect from them. can't they just be contented of what they have? are people like them aware of what they'll lost? aren't they afraid of the so-called karma?

these people like BLACKWOOD and MISHIL are the kind of people who are aware that their selves are their best enemies, even though they know their limits, they still continue to do tricks since nobody busted them before. But when they found out that 1 of the 100 people who are afraid of them unveiled their secrets, they will still continue to do their magic even if they are risking their lives already, and thought that their fantasies of being a demigod will prove this 1 person that he/she still has the power and is a real immortal.

see? you yourself is your best enemy. we know what our limits are and yet we still continue to surpass it. the person who you are is sometimes not the body who you're in, there are things that only possible in our mind and not in our strength, if we continuously follow the person in us we are putting our selves in danger.
