KID AS PARAPHERNALIA

around 10am when i browsed my FACEBOOK ACCOUNT, i saw this kid's photo, enormous photos which seemed to be wrong.

in the photo is a kid holding a piece of material that indicates a NAME of a CANDIDATE for the upcoming election and barely written there is "VOTE FOR --------" (i opted to not place the name for the candidate's concern)

the little girl got a nice and cute picture perfect pose in it. while continuously browsing, there are several comments which the author of the picture didn't mind at all . there were comments saying "CHILD LABOR" which made me decide to not stay quite for that matter.

yes it's true. the parents could be accused of CHILD LABOR for the picture done, and the candidate could loose his opportunity to successfully grab a seat in the council he's aiming for.

im not against with the person concerned for the publication of the picture and has nothing against him. i don't know him personally and has no idea if where was he in that very moment.

i placed a comment stressing my opinion that what they posted is indeed a risk.

i suggested that they may use I LOVE ---- or just the name of the candidate may do but using VOTE is a no no.. not unless the one who holds the paper is a person of legal age and at the right mental capacity who could definitely defend himself as to FREEDOM OF SPEECH, nor THIS IS JUST MY OPINION, BECAUSE I SUPPORT HIM/HER.

sadly, i was busted and was responded with MIND YOUR OWN and even told me WHO AM I to tell him those things and am i capable of telling him those? and lastly, stressing that he got so pissed. i know it was my fault commenting on that picture but i can't resist to share little concerns. i should have ended it with a SORRY or say nothing at all but i am not that kind of person.

at first, prior to any comments i have posted and while in the middle of encoding my message, i thought they will be grateful for such advise, that they may learn from the mistakes they earned and a little appreciation as my pleasure. but that was what happened, all went wrong and all went worse.

TO ALL WHO ATTEMPTS TO FOLLOW THAT GUY'S IDEA of PROMOTING A CANDIDATE HERE's A LITTLE ADVICE: (though i am not from COMELEC, im just a little-tiny-small concerned citizen)

• dont use kids as your endorsers. they dont know what they're doing, not unless you have documents from DOLE for the child LABOR, may it be your kids or not.
• somehow you may use them but a support material may do, don't be so vulgar on placing VOTE FOR ---- on the picture. if a member of the family, you may use, I LOVE YOU ----, it's a simple way of advertising and strategic material.
• do not even try to use animals. PETA might see you
• you may create a FAN PAGE on FB, FS or TWITTER
• you yourself may do the endorsement, at least if being asked you can defend yourself.
• ask first some advise from the candidate your plans for the support and the methods or the media and all the specific details you are about to use before doing so, it may ruin him without him knowing what you've done.
• or better yet ask the election department, they all know it.

sometimes, its not wrong to support and express your loyalty and support but there are things we should consider first, its essentials and its effect.

to the person who might read this, don't worry, i will still vote for your candidate. (FROGGY)
