HICCUP & TOOTHLESS

i watched the movie HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON last night at the cinema and was overwhelmed with the story and the adaptation on action pictures made by DREAM WORKS ANIMATION

the movie begun with an introduction narrated by HICCUP. Dragons always attacks them and took their sheep away. STOICK, the clan leader (they call themselves VIKINGS, dragon killers) and HICCUP's father would have always wanted to kill the dragons and find where they settle and evade them. to pass on his throne, he was so disappointed with his son who does not have a quality and physique of a real VIKING, so he entrusted him to his pal GOBBER.

During one battle, a frustrated HICCUP uses a gadget he invented to bring down a Night Fury, the most formidable breed of dragon. When HICCUP finds the injured dragon lying in a secluded valley, he doesn't have the heart to kill it.

Instead he feeds it, gains its trust and names it Toothless.

Meanwhile, blacksmith GOBBER persuades HICCUP's father, tribe chief STOICK the Vast , to enroll HICCUP in dragon-slaying training along with the other village teenagers.

So HICCUP spends his days learning to kill dragons and his nights befriending one. And he can't let anyone know about TOOTHLESS, especially not his already-disappointed father.

during their final lessons on how to kill the dragon, all of the tribe members were there and the elder should choose who among the students have passed on becoming a real VIKING, between ASTRID and HICCUP. HICCUP was chosen. he decided to leave the tribe and live with TOOTHLESS in a far away land, but the vengeful ASTRID followed him (anyway, ASTRID is HICCUP's love interest), and forced HICCUP to show what he's hiding in making these DRAGONS fall.

when ASTRID was about to grip HICCUP, TOOTHLESS same as other pets, went in and protected his friend HICCUP. but HICCUP was trying to control them. when ASTRID ran away and was about to tell the whole tribe what HICCUP is up to, she was kidnapped by TOOTHLESS and HICCUP. but that was not bad at all, rather they were able to build a friendship when they toured ASTRID in the sky.

the dragons came in a group carrying with foods, so TOOTHLESS joined in and went to where the DRAGONS are, surprisingly, HICCUP and ASTRID were the first human to know where the dragons live and found out something.
