it's new location is at NINOY AQUINO AVENUE, Tacloban City. near Leyte Normal University and Leyte National High School.
if you are going to travel through the REAL STREET, you can drop at THE STO. NIÑO SHRINE which was the house turned museum of the late President MARCOS and walk through between the house and the LIBRARY BUILDING (People's Center).
the whole place was designed with authentic and unique materials with antiques and shell-tiles. the gazebos and comfortable and in it's wide new location, you can choose whether where you want to stay and enjoy the drink and the music.
the centermost part of the place was an olympic size stagnant swimming pool of the MARCOSES, (this is where IMELDA MARCOS swims every night every time they have their vacation in TACLOBAN) the whole place was beautifully landscaped, fresh and very relaxing.
3 functional big areas and enormous gazebos are there. THE KARAOKE BAR, where there is VIDEOKE and the guests could perform 3 songs per table. best place for those groups who enjoys karaoke and giggling chats. another is THE ACOUSTIC AREA, where there are acoustic performers and the guests could sing too. very suitable to lovers and the candle lights that makes the ambiance more romantic. and THE FUNCTIONAL AREA, where big celebrations could be held, like birthday parties and wedding receptions.
the foods are good too. and the prices are very reasonable. they have variety of foods to serve and all are served well although with minimal serving presentations.
the place is simple. no entrance fee and no minimum charge (no to mention the service charge) same as other bars, they apply corkage fee on foods brought by the guests.
we (i and my barkada) used to go there every week, we enjoys singing and dancing a bit on it. saturdays has the most guests, sometimes we chose to go there on sundays so we could own the whole place for a while and sing till we drop! LOL
so when you visit TACLOBAN, try to experience a night at KYLES.
